Even as a young child, local artist Nancy Biggins was drawn to animals. Whether they were large or small, animals were always her passion, and it was during her time as an animal keeper at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona, that she invented her bee-proof, drip-free hummingbird feeder design. She works primarily in copper to make unique, beautiful yet practical, pieces. Every feeder is one-of-a-kind and hand crafted of solid copper.
Each feeder comes with two one-ounce, dishwasher-safe, plastic feeding jars with lids.
The copper hanging feeder is available in 7 in. and 10 in., while the window-mounted feeder is 7 in. and comes with a suction cup for up-close viewing of the hummingbirds at your window!
1-3 hummingbirds will empty a jar of food in roughly 2 days, depending on the time of year and other natural food sources. We recommend changing the feeders daily, and this is effective in keeping away bees and wasps as well.
Instructions for use included.
